The Fibonacci Sequence is a series of number in which the sum of the two previous numbers equals the next number in the series. An example of a Fibonacci Sequence is 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and so on. It is found in nature in the arrangement of leaves, the head of a flower, and many others as well as in animals. Although plants don't necessarily know that they are growing according to this series, it's still very interesting to detect the use of math in objects that aren't even alive. This demonstrates how intricate math is and how often it is seen.
